A Special Unveiling
Experience a special art unveiling featuring the creative work from the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association (MAPAPA). Each piece has been specially painted live on the National Museum of Railroad History & Innovation’s grounds by a MAPAPA member. Select pieces will be available for purchase in the Museum Store—offering a unique chance to take home an original, locally inspired work of art.
About the Artists:
The Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association (MAPAPA) is dedicated to promoting the discipline of painting outdoors, as opposed to a studio, which is also known as plein air painting. They have been creating since 2003 and have played a major role in creating the painting competition “Paint Annapolis.” To learn more about them and their work, click here.
