Sensory Sundays - National Museum of Railroad History & Innovation

Sensory Sundays Continue in 2026!

At the National Museum of Railroad History and Innovation, select Sundays are dedicated to Sensory Awareness. These days feature environmental accommodations—such as no music, low lighting, quiet areas, and extra signage for sound effects—along with sensory-friendly activities like train rides and tours. Guests also have access to helpful resources, including sensory kits, social stories, and a community table.

** Train Ride will not be available on February 1, 2026 Sensory Sunday. Train ride tickets available for purchase on-site.
