A Work of Art!
Experience the art of railroading come to life during a special live painting demonstration inside our historic roundhouse. Baltimore-based artist Nadine Charlsen, a nationally recognized watercolor artist and signature member of the American Watercolor Society and Baltimore Watercolor Society, will paint live while drawing inspiration from the locomotives and history surrounding her. About the Artist:

Nadine Charlsen is an urban landscape watercolor artist and instructor based in Baltimore, Maryland. Charlsen’s background as a theatrical lighting designer in New York City for 31 years has allowed her to incorporate her knowledge of light, shadow, scale, colors and textures to culminate an artistic drama. Her work is inspired by architecture, cityscapes and serene countryside settings captured through the lens of her camera. She has a working studio/gallery in the Cork Factory, 302 E. Federal Street, Baltimore, MD 21202. She is also represented by 3402 Art Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland. To learn more about her work, click here.
